Cancellation & Refund Policy
Mobile Notary Always — San Diego, CA
Once an appointment is booked, all payments are final and non-refundable. Cancellations or reschedule requests must be made at least 36 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Requests made within 36 hours of the appointment cannot be processed through the online booking system — please contact us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate a reschedule.
No refunds will be issued under the following circumstances:
- Cancellation, no-show, or reschedule request made within 36 hours of the appointment.
- The signer does not appear to possess the mental capacity to understand the documents being signed, or appears to be signing under duress or undue influence. As a licensed notary, we are legally required to decline notarization in these situations.
- The signer refuses to sign, is unwilling to complete the notarization, or is unavailable at the scheduled time and location.
- The signer does not present a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID, or the ID does not reasonably match the name on the documents.
- The documents are incomplete, blank in required fields, or not ready for signature at the time of the appointment.
- Additional signers required for the documents were not disclosed at booking and are not present.
The travel/trip fee compensates for time, travel, and appointment scheduling, and applies whether or not the notarization is ultimately completed. This fee is non-refundable in all circumstances above.
Mobile Notary Always reserves the right to decline any notarization as required or permitted by California notary law.
